Your business shouldn’t have to be built around you forever.
A lot of business owners are trying to grow while still holding too much of the business together themselves. The decisions always come back to you. The team needs you to clarify the same work again. The goals are there, but the structure underneath the business needs attention.
The Build gives you time step away, look at what keeps the business running, and decide what needs to change so the business can grow in a healthier way.
WHO THIS IS FOR
The Build is for the leader who can feel the business asking for something different.
The Build is for those leading a team, making decisions about growth, or heading toward next year knowing the way work happens needs more clarity. You may already have goals, ideas and even know some of what needs to change.
What you need is room to get above the business, look at the patterns honestly, and decide what needs to be built so the business can grow in a way that is healthier for you, your team, and the work itself.
That’s what The Build is designed to give you.
What we’ll work through
The Flywheel Framework helps you name what keeps the engine of your business running. It’s a way to understand the work, relationships, decisions, and rhythms that keep the business moving when it’s healthy.
Working Genius helps you look at how work moves through your team. Where does it lose steam? Where do people get frustrated? Where are you compensating for a part of the process that hasn’t been named clearly enough?
You’ll come into the room with pre-work already started, then use the 1.5 days to turn that work into a clearer picture of what next year needs to look like.

BEFORE THE BUILD
The pre-work
Before we gather in Birmingham, you’ll complete pre-work around Jim Collins’s Hedgehog Concept: what you’re truly passionate about, what you can be best in the world at, and what drives your economic engine.
This work will help you come into The Build with a strong starting point. You’ll draft your Hedgehog on your own first, then bring it to a live 60-minute group call before the event.
Hedgehog Group Call
Thursday, October 22, 2026
60-minute video call
You’ll bring your drafted Hedgehog, get feedback and refine the foundation for your Flywheel work.
